Where your data lives, who has access and what AI does with it

A company brain holds your brand, your claims and your customer knowledge. Here is how I work with that, and what this site itself measures and makes with AI.

Where the company brain lives

In a database you own, not with me or a software vendor. You pay no per-user licence for the brain itself.

  • I often build in Supabase, but it can also be another database your company wants to use. It always belongs to your company.
  • By default it is in the EU.
  • I record this in the proposal and in a build log, in GitHub or in the documentation you want.

Who has access

You decide who has access. I am only there temporarily.

  • Your team, with the rights you give.
  • I only have access during the build and the ongoing care, and with your permission.
  • Every topic has an owner in your team. Only that owner changes it, as a new version.
  • AI makes suggestions and never changes the brain itself.

Which AI services process your text

Whatever your company wants. Myself, I mostly use Anthropic's Claude through the API. Only what the question needs is sent along.

  • Do you use the brain in another AI tool, through an MCP connection? Then that tool's privacy terms apply as well.
  • I do not use your data to train models myself.
  • The AI provider processes your data under its business terms; which provider and which agreements we record per client.

AI use on this site

This site is itself built with AI. This is what AI makes here, and where what you type goes.

  • Blog texts are prepared with AI, through Lovable's AI gateway. Those are Google models (Gemini), with an OpenAI model as a fallback.
  • Translations into English, meta descriptions, internal links, topic ideas and header images also come from AI.
  • I make blogs with the help of AI. I read and approve every article myself before it goes live.
  • For a supplied draft, the instruction to the model says it must not invent facts, numbers or sources. Nothing publishes automatically: publishing is a manual step by me.
  • The Prompt Crafter and the Lovable prompts send what you enter to an AI model, through Lovable's AI service (Gemini). What you enter and the result are stored in this site's database. I delete that after 12 months.
  • If you enter a company name in a training request, I can have an AI model write a short company profile from that name and the website. I start that myself, by hand; that step does not check your cookie choice again.
  • There is no chatbot on this site.

What this site measures itself

Without your choice, the tags for statistics and marketing do not load: Google Analytics, Google Ads and Leadinfo.

  • Statistics (Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager, and my own visit statistics without IP address and without cookies) only with your consent.
  • Marketing (Google Ads measurement, Leadinfo and a visitor profile in your browser for follow-up) only with your consent.
  • I keep your choice for 12 months in your browser. You change it through Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
  • What you enter in the contact form goes into this site's database and reaches me by email. The enquiry gets a short assessment based on budget and timeline.

The full list of retention periods and your rights is in the privacy policy.
